Patrick A. Cambier, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI
Bio:
Dr Cambier is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He comes to us from BayCare where he was Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Labs, Mease Hospital. He formerly served as the managing partner of the Heart and Vascular Institute of Florida, and has practiced Interventional and Noninvasive Cardiology for over 20 years in Tampa Bay. Dr Cambier recieved his M.D. from Hahnemann University Philadelphia and his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training as an officer in the US Army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. As a staff cardiologist and director of Cardiac Laboratories at Madigan Army Medical Center he recieved additional training in peripheral vascular angiography and intervention. He was one of the first cardiologists in Tampa to perform endovascular stenting of abdominal aneurysm (AAA), study and implement vascular closure devices, absorbable coronary stents and drug coated balloons.
Dr Patrick Cambier has participated extensively in clinical research, and has been involved in numerous clinical trials and presented papers among others at the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association. He has participated in clinical training internationally, and us a consultant for biomedical device development. He has been adjunct medical faculty of the Uniformed Services Health Science in Bethesda, MD, University of Washington, Seattle and the University of South Florida. Dr Cambier is a fellow of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention. A participant in community outreach and education, he has been qouted in the Tampa Bay Times, WFLA, and local television regarding new developments in healthcare and technology, He is married with two children, and is pleased to be bringing his training and expertise to the patients of Interventional Cardiology Consultants.
