Dr. Carlos J. Bayron, M.D., F.A.C.C. is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in internal medicine, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology. Born in Puerto Rico, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico before earning his medical degree from the Central University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
Dr. Bayron completed his internship and residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he built a strong foundation in internal medicine. He went on to pursue advanced training through a cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
With over 45 years of experience, Dr. Bayron has been a dedicated provider serving patients in Pasco and Pinellas counties. He is the founder of Interventional Cardiac Consultants (ICC) and has played a significant role in advancing cardiovascular care in the region.
His expertise includes cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and a wide range of coronary interventional procedures, as well as the management of complex heart conditions.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bayron has been actively involved in clinical research trials and has contributed to fellowship training programs within the HCA hospital division, helping to educate and mentor future physicians.
Dr. Bayron is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (F.A.C.C.), reflecting his commitment to excellence in cardiovascular medicine.
